Justin Gooden is a dedicated VA Loan Specialist based out of the TX-Houston branch, serving veterans, active-duty service members, reservists, retirees, and military families across Texas. Licensed in Texas (NMLS #1290377), Justin exclusively focuses on VA loans — no other mortgage products — because he believes those who serve our country deserve a lender who truly understands their lifestyle, sacrifices, and benefits.
As an Army Veteran and Non-Commissioned Officer who served on Active Duty before continuing service in the Army Reserve, Justin brings firsthand military experience to every client interaction. He is also proud to be part of a military family; his wife currently serves in the United States Air Force, and together they are raising three children while continuing to live the military lifestyle.
Justin’s personal experience with the VA loan program sets him apart. While stationed overseas at Camp Zama, he purchased his first home using a VA loan through a fully virtual overseas closing process. He has since used his VA entitlement multiple times, giving him real-world knowledge of the VA loan process from both the loan officer and homeowner perspective.
Having personally navigated PCS moves, military relocations, overseas assignments, and the challenges service members face during homeownership, Justin is committed to making the mortgage process simple, transparent, and mission-focused. His goal is to be the trusted, go-to VA loan expert for military families who want guidance from someone who has genuinely lived the experience.
